Overview
This privacy policy helps those concerned with how their Personally Identifiable Information (PII) is used online. PII is information that can identify, contact or locate a single person. Please read it to understand how we collect, use, protect and handle your PII.
What information we collect
When ordering or registering on our site, you may be asked to enter your name, email address or other details to help with your experience.
We keep this to a minimum. To process and fulfill your order we store your name, email address, billing country and the links you order for. We use your billing country and connection details for fraud checks on payments; the result of each check is kept for 180 days, then deleted.
If you chat with Red, our assistant, we keep the conversation so our team can pick it up where Red leaves off. If you join our newsletter, we keep the email address you give us until you unsubscribe. Beyond that we track general site traffic through Google Analytics.
When we collect information
We collect information from you when you register on our site, place an order, subscribe to a newsletter, chat with Red, or enter information on our site.
How we use your information
We may use the information we collect to quickly process your transactions, to send periodic emails about your order or our products and services, and to follow up after correspondence (live chat, email or phone).
How we protect your information
Our website is scanned regularly for vulnerabilities and we use regular malware scanning. Your personal information is kept behind secured networks accessible only by a limited number of people with special access rights.
All sensitive information is encrypted via SSL. All transactions are processed through a gateway provider and are not stored or processed on our servers.
Third-party disclosure & links
We do not sell, trade or otherwise transfer your Personally Identifiable Information to outside parties.
We do not include or offer third-party products or services on our website. We use Google Analytics to understand site usage.
Do Not Track & behavioral tracking
We honor Do Not Track (DNT) signals and do not plant cookies or use advertising when a DNT browser mechanism is in place. We also do not allow third-party behavioral tracking.
Children’s privacy (COPPA)
The Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) protects the privacy of children under 13. We do not specifically market to children under the age of 13.
Data breach & fair information practices
Should a data breach occur, we will notify you via email and via in-site notification within 7 business days. We also agree to the Individual Redress Principle, giving individuals enforceable rights against data collectors and processors that fail to follow the law.
Email & CAN-SPAM
We collect your email to send information, respond to requests, process orders and send updates, and to market to our mailing list. In line with CAN-SPAM, we don’t use false or misleading subjects, we identify messages appropriately, include our address, and honor opt-out requests promptly.
To unsubscribe from future emails, follow the instructions at the bottom of any email and we’ll promptly remove you from all correspondence.
